Alphabet Reading Challenge

My first reading challenge on Once Upon a Bookcase! I'm taking part in the Alphabet Reading Challenge - click for details - which is hosted on LibraryThing.

I'm going to go by author rather than by title. AS this is a YA blog, all the books will be YA. Please, feel free to give me recs, as I don't know if I will be able to come up with them on my own.

  1. I don't read too many YA books but Anne at Books on the Nightstand discussed The Children's Book by A.S. Byatt in her last blog and that sounded like good book and Scott Westfeld's new book. Leviathan looks good as well (it has a really cool trailer which hooked me immediately)

  2. Just thinking about the letters that will be harder for you to find authors for... I've had The Secret Rites of Social Butterflies by Lizabeth Zindel on my wish list for a really long time now. If you were to go for that one, I might try to read it at the same time as you! Mind you, there are some other great Z's, like Gabrielle Zevin (Elsewhere is a must-read!)

    I'll check back and see which letters you're missing another day! I think "Q" will be tough.
