I have a fair few things to share with you all!

First of all, I'm going to ask for some help. A story has been made from one of my prompts! Holly Schindler, author of A Blue So Dark and forthcoming Playing Hurt, has been holding a Flash Fiction Challenge! Basically, readers emailed her with prompts - anything from a string of words, a phrase, a subject an idea, etc - and she chose the one she liked best each month, starting in September and wrote a piece of flash fiction from it. For December, she chose my prompt and used it as her title, "What the Eyes Don't See"! Oooh, I am sooo chuffed!

Now all the stories are finished, each reader can vote for their favourite one, and the person whose prompt wins gets a prize! So please vote for mine! Unless you prefer one of the others of course. Fortunately, my story, links to the other stories and the voting form are all in one blog post on Holly's blog, here. Go check it out. Even if you don't vote for mine, be sure to read the stories, they're all awesome! Voting closes on 15th Dec!

News: Luisa Plaja's Live Webchat on Fiercebook TODAY!

I'm very sorry for the lack of anything from me over the last few days. I'm suffering from a migraine and being on the computer makes it worse. So I'm sorry to everyone who's blog has been without comment, email without reply, and general presence in the blogosphere. Hopefully I'll be back soon.

I had to come on quickly, though, to let you all know that wonderful YA author Luisa Plaja will be having a live webchat on Fiercebook, the Random House YA Facebook group, today. Head on over to Fiercebook at 5pm GMT for an hour to chat with Luisa about "books, writing, romance and body swapping" - as said in the email I received from Random House. For more info on the webchat, check out the Fiercebook Event info. Unfortunately, because of my head, I won't be taking part in the webchat (Sorry, Luisa!), so make sure you do! Not only are Luisa's novels amazing (currently reading Swapped by a Kiss - well, I was before the migraine - and it's brilliant so far!), she's also a lovely lady! Go get chatting! :)

Rosemary Clement-Moore Live Webchat on Fiercebook In February!

ETA: Really sorry about the mix, but the details of Rosemary Clement0-Moore's webchat were originally put on Fiercebook incorrectly - so there is no webchat today. The actual details are below.

Rosemary Clement-Moore, author of The Splendour Falls (28th Jan), will be on Fiercebook for a webchat! Make your way over to the Facebook group on Thursday 18th February 2010 at 5.00pm GMT to ask Rosemary some questions about her new novel! You have to be a member of the group - and therefore Facebook - to take part.

the splendour falls by rosemary clement-mooreSylvie Davies is a ballerina who can't dance. A broken leg ended her career, but what broke her heart was her father's death, and what's breaking her spirit is her mother's remarriage. Still reeling Sylvie is shipped off to stay with relatives in the back of beyond. Or so she thinks, in fact she ends up in a town rich with her family's history ...and as it turns out her family has a lot more history than Sylvie ever knew. More unnerving, though, are the two guys she can't stop thinking about. Shawn Maddox, the resident golden boy, is the expected choice. But handsome and mysterious Rhys has a hold on her that she doesn't quite understand. Then Sylvie starts seeing things - a girl by the lake and a man with dark unseeing eyes peering in through the window ...Sylvie's lost nearly everything - is she starting to lose her mind as well?
