Despite what's inside, some books can blow you away just by what's on the cover. I'm forever coming across beautiful, beautiful covers, and thought I would share them with you. Today's post, redheads!
I'm a redhead myself, but I'm pretty crap when it comes to styling hair, so whenever I see another redhead - natural or not - with gorgeous hair, I die a little at how beautiful it is! And we have quite a few YA covers with gorgeous red hair featured...
Texas Gothic by Rosemary Clement-Moore
Friendship on Fire by Danielle Weiler
Fallen Grace by Mary Hooper
Darklight by Lesley Livingstone
Slayed by Amanda Marrone
My Sister Lives on the Mantlepiece by Annabel Pitcher
Firelight by Sophie Jordan
Bite Club by Rachel Caine
Bad Blood by Mari Mancusi
(I get that she doesn't strictly have red hair, as her skin is a little red too, but it works for this)
Chain Letter by Christopher Pike
Entangled by Cat Clarke
Aren't they just gorgeous?! What's your favourite? I think mine are the Darklight and Firelight covers. They're just beautiful!
I LOVE the covers of Texas Gothic and Darklight..but my ultimate favourite one HAS to be Cat Clarke's Entangled!!! <3
ReplyDeleteOH YEAH! I forgot about Entangled! I'll add that now. I do like them all, though!
ReplyDeleteThese are all fab covers but I think my favorites are Entangled & Firelight. I always wished I was born a red head & have spent a fortune on red hair dye over the years lol
ReplyDeleteRed hair is gorgeous. I do love both those covers, their hair is just beautiful!
ReplyDeleteGreat picks! I LOVE red hair, but it's hard to find someone who pulls it off perfectly in real life (I do know a girl though...). I agree on Entangled and Firelight being two of my favorites, though I also really like the vivid red in Fallen Grace; the cover isn't all that spectacular, but her hair is.
ReplyDeleteMy aunt's ginger, her hair is always gorgeous! Makes me so jealous! But then she was a hairdresser, so it makes sense, lol. Fallen Grace is a definite eye-catcher! :)
ReplyDeleteI love them all! Firelight and Entangled are probably my favourite though - Fallen Grace is an interesting cover too. Lovely post, thank you :).
ReplyDeleteNo problem! I'm so glad you liked it! :)
ReplyDeleteIt's wrong, but looking at these covers makes me want to read all these books more!
ReplyDeleteI don't think it matters if your act of judging by a cover makes you want to read. I think it's when it puts you off that it matters, lol.
ReplyDeleteSome great covers! Another one would be Midnight by L.J. Smith.
ReplyDeleteAwwww! I love covers with a theme like this. Carly's picks always makes me laugh. I quite like red hair as well, and I ADORE the covers of both Firelight and Entangled!
ReplyDeleteAlex - Thanks. I've just looked it up, it's not bad!
ReplyDeleteMichelle - I just love Carly's posts! I don't know if mine will be as good, lol. We'll see. But I love the idea, and I'm always seeing such beautiful covers! It seems there is a consensus for Firelight and Entangled!
absolutely love this post. Im always saying on my book cover reviews that I love covers with red heads I mean it just looks so pretty. Their hair stands out so beautifully. One that I like a moonlight by rachel hawthorne and brightly woven by alexandra bracken. But i love the wondrous strange series covers. its so eye capturing.
ReplyDeleteLoved that you singles out those redheads!!!
Thank you! :) I'm so glad you liked the post! Covers with redhead really are quite eye-catching, I agree. I'm going to have to look up those other covers you mentioned. Thanks for stopping by! :)
ReplyDeleteRedhead covers are stunning :)
ReplyDeleteWow, thanks for stopping buy, Danielle! They are, I just love them! :)
ReplyDeleteEntangled is my favourite, not only cover wise, but it is such a great book!
ReplyDeleteIt is an awesome book! :)
