Bleeding Violet by Dia Reeves
Love can be a dangerous thing....
Hanna simply wants to be loved. With a head plagued by hallucinations, a medicine cabinet full of pills, and a closet stuffed with frilly, violet dresses, Hanna's tired of being the outcast, the weird girl, the freak. So she runs away to Portero, Texas in search of a new home.
But Portero is a stranger town than Hanna expects. As she tries to make a place for herself, she discovers dark secrets that would terrify any normal soul. Good thing for Hanna, she's far from normal. As this crazy girl meets an even crazier town, only two things are certain: Anything can happen and no one is safe. From Amazon US
Blue Bloods by Melissa de la Cruz
They're Young, Fabulous and Fanged...And they rule Manhattan from the trendy uptown clubs to the downtown boutiques. Fifteen-year-old Schuyler Van Alen has never quite fit in at her exclusive prep school - she's more of a vintage than a Versace girl - but all that's about to change...Because Schuyler has just found out she's a Blue Blood. The Blue Bloods are the city's glamorous - and secret - vampire elite. They're young, beautiful and powerful. But now they're being murdered. And Schuyler must find out who - or what - is behind it before she's next. From Amazon UK
I'm so looking forward to reading both of these! Check out Ink and Paper for the other book I got this week.

It's gorgeous isn't it? So much better than the US one, in my opinion; looking to the right is better than just looking up.

ReplyDeleteKirthi - Violet is also one of my favourite colours-ish; all shades of purple I love. However, I don't think I'd want to wear JUST violet for all time. But the book sounds good! :)
ReplyDeleteJenny - Cheers! They're both awesome, aren't they! :D As soon as I saw the Blue Bloods cover and realised it was different from the US cover, I thought of you! Perhaps a future US vs US maybe :)
