Retellings Reading Challenge 2017: December Link-Up

Retellings Reading Challenge 2017

Welcome to the Retellings Reading Challenge 2017 link-up for December! You can link up your reviews at the bottom of this post.

How have you been doing for the challenge? I didn't read any retellings in November, but I'm planning on reading A Girl Called Owl by Amy Wilson this month, a retelling of Jack Frost! Perfect for this time of year!

Before we get to the link-up, I just wanted to let you know that I won't be running this challenge again next year. There are so few people who take part, it's not worth the time I and money I spend each month on it. I, myself, will still be reading retellings next year because I love them so much, but there won't be a challenge here. If I find someone else is hosting a similar challenge before the end of the year, I will link to it in this post.

Ok, so now on to the link-up! Please post the links to your reviews from December in the link-up below. But before you do...
  • You must sign up for the challenge before you post links to your reviews. Links from people who haven't signed up will be deleted. Sign up for the challenge here.
  • Make sure your links go directly to your reviews, not to your blog/Goodreads page/youtube channel/insta account, etc. Those of the latter will be deleted.
  • To count, books must be read and reviewed in December or finished reading at the very end of November (29th/30th), reviewed at the very beginning of December (1st/2nd).
  • When you link to your reviews, in the "Name" field, please include the title of the book, the author, and your blog name. For example: Wicked by Gregory Maguire @ Once Upon a Bookcase.
  • When sharing your reviews on social media, don't forget to use the #RetellingsRC2017 hashtag, so we can all find your reviews.

  1. Oh my gosh!! I love retellings! I didn't know there was such a challenge and hate that I missed this! Are you planning on doing this for 2018? Not that I need to add more books to my ever growing list, but this is one of my favorite genres and would love to discover some new books.

  3. I'm sad that you won't be hosting the challenge again. I enjoyed participating although I need to get better about linking up reviews.
