Falling Kingdoms – Main Characters
Falling Kingdoms was a really fun book to write because I got to follow not just one character’s story, but the stories of four very different teenagers whose lives are destined to intertwine…
Princess Cleiona (Cleo) Bellos is the princess of Auranos, the privileged golden kingdom. Because of this, well… Cleo’s a bit of a spoiled brat. How could she not be? Her courage and strength has never been tested before. Beneath it all, however, Cleo has a very pure heart and will go to the ends of the earth – literally! – to help save someone she loves.
Prince Magnus Damora is the crown prince of Limeros, the frozen kingdom in the north that’s ruled by his father, known to his subjects as the “king of blood.” Magnus has survived by creating a practiced mask of indifference that helps him appear just as cold and merciless as his father…even if, beneath it all, he may be anything but.
Princess Lucia is Magnus’s younger sister, a girl who has been raised in a harsh and disciplined palace, but still has the perks of royalty. She has many suitors and a seemingly charmed life…but there is a secret about her she does not know yet. And there is a magic she’s finding she can wield, one that scares her since accused witches in Limeros are seen as evil and executed.
Jonas Agallon is the youngest son of a poor merchant in Paelsia. He’s a survivor who will poach and steal from his rich neighbors in Auranos whenever necessary and without guilt. When tragedy strikes, a grief-stricken Jonas quickly develops a thirst for vengeance and will go to any lengths to achieve it.
