First Class Post (32)

first class post
First Class Post - because this post is first class!

First Class Post

Monument 14 by Emmy Laybourne - Goodreads / Amazon
This is a 2013 YA Debut novel, and it sounds awesome! All post-apocalyptic and exciting! Really looking forward to reading this!

Paper Valentine by Brenna Yovanoff - Goodreads / Amazon
Unfortunately, I am so very far behind and have yet to read anything by Brenna Yovanoff, but all of her books sound amazing, and Paper Valentine is no exception! Really looking forward to this creepy novel!

Wake by Amanda Hocking - Goodreads / Amazon
Lullaby by Amanda Hocking - Goodreads / Amazon
This series sounds so intriguing! I'm yet to read anything by Amanda Hocking, but she's had such huge buzz surrounding her books, I'm really looking forward to trying some of her novels!

Irrisistible by Liz Bankes - Goodreads / Amazon
I was sent a e-copy of this book to review, but I much prefer physical books, so I'm so happy to have been sent a proof! So looking forward to reading this! I'm counting this as a 2013 New Adult Debut as it's released in paperback for the first time in 2013.

Confessions of an Angry Girl by Louise Rozett - Goodreads / Amazon
This is another 2013 YA Debut novel, and one and sounds like a  fun contemporary! Looking forward to giving it a go! :)

Through the Ever Night by Veronica Rossi - Goodreads / Amazon
Really looking forward to reading this! I remember at the time, I enjoyed Under the Never Sky, but felt a little let down by it. But remembering the story... I only remember good things! So excited to read this!

Colin Fischer by Ashley Edward Miller and Zack Stentz - Goodreads / Amazon
This sounds awesome! And worrying. I worry for that boy, hunting after a gunman. Eeek! Looking forward to giving this a go. (Part of wanting to read it is my guilt over not reading The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night Time yet, shh!)

Requiem by Lauren Oliver - Goodreads / Amazon
OH MY GOD! YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW EXCITED I AM THAT I HAVE THIS BOOK! I literally squealed when I pulled it out the envelope. My Mum asked me what was up, and I had trouble explaining I was so grinny and squealy and excited! Like such a child. BUT IT'S REQUIEM! REQUIEM!! And look at how cute it was packaged!

And it looks like it'll be such a beautiful cover! Looking forward to finding out if this is what the finished cover will look like or not!

ETA:
Undone by Cat Clarke - Goodreads / Amazon
A late arrival! So not in the photo. SO happy to have received this! I was pretty sure all my emails to Quercus were going to their spam boxes as I haven't had a reply in well over a year, and then this arrived when I was at work yesterday! Happy Jo! So looking forward to reading it! Cat is such an awesome author, and this book is perfect for LGBTQ YA Month! Plus, the proof copy has quotes from various reviews on the cover, and it's so cool to see so many blogs I love on there!

Thank you Hachette Children's Books, Simon and Schuster Children's Books, Tor UK, Piccadilly Press, Mira Ink, Atom, Puffin, and Hodder and Stoughton for the review copies.
