LGBTQ YA Month - Want To Contribute?

You may or may not know that in July 2013, I will be holding a new blog event on Once Upon a Bookcase - LGBTQ YA Month. I have in the past invited people to take part with me on their own blog, but I'm not doing that this year. I think this event will be much bigger than previous ones, and I've started my reading early. It's hard enough keeping myself organised with everything I have planned, and it would be too stressful trying to keep tabs on what others are doing for the month too.

Despite this, it would be great if people were willing to contribute to the month with guest posts. Whether you're an LGBTQ person or not, if you would like to write a guest post about LGBTQ YA, that would be awesome! Have a think about what you would like to write about, leave a comment with your email address (though be careful how you write it, I don't want you to get spam!) or email me (see the tabs above), and I'll contact you to discuss your topic. I would like to ask that there aren't too many guest review suggestions as I will be writing a fair number of reviews myself.

Also, if there are any authors who would like to contribute a guest post about LGBTQ YA - whether you write it or not - you're more than welcome! Again, if you either leave your email address in the comments or email me, I'll then get back to.

Thank you all! I look forward to hearing from you :)

  1. Oooh, Jo, I'm REALLY looking forward to this month. I'd love to contribute, somehow, but I'm not sure what. I'll think about it? But... I'm so excited to see what you read and write, love ♥

  2. I'd love to contribute to this, though I'll have to brainstorm before I can settle on a topic. I'll likely focus on YA SFF novels with LGBTQ protagonists, since that's what I know best; maybe something on crossover titles that work equally well as adult or YA? 3. I'd also love to contribute to this. I'm open to suggestions - maybe why it's so important that there be LGBTQ books in YA? hit me up bookprobereviews AT gmail DOT com
