Crescendo UK Blog Tour: Patch & Nora Flashback

Crescendo UK Blog Tour banner

The Crescendo UK Blog Tour is stopping at Once Upon a Bookcase today, and I have a flash back extract with Patch and Nora...

As soon as my fingers brushed the place on his back where his wing scars used to be, a distant light exploded at the back of my mind. Perfect darkness, ruptured by one burst of blinding light. It was like watching a cosmic phenomenon in space from millions of miles away. I felt my mind being sucked inside Patch’s, into all the thousands of private memories stored there, when suddenly he took my hand and slid it lower, away from the place where his wings joined with his back, and everything spun sharply back to normal. “Nice try,” he murmured, his lips brushing mine as he spoke.
Intriguing huh? Check out my raving review here.

Go visit The Bookette for yesterday's extract, and stop by I Was a Teenage Book Geek tomorrow for her "You know you’re obsessed with Hush, Hush when…" post. To find out where else the tour has been and will go, read the tour announcement.

  2. Ahh, true! I thought you meant it was a deleted scene. Sorry, I must've taken stupid pills today. :)

  3. Ooh, I think this was in chapter one. I'm quite interested to know what Nora would have found when Patch didn't pull her hand away!

  5. This isn't never-seen-before. It's in the first chapter which has been out for awhile on Becca's site, I think :(
