There were a fair few people who mentioned their interest in a meet up for YA bloggers, and together we have sorted out the details for the event. Details:
Where?
At Waterstone's Piccadilly's Costa Coffee (down stairs).
203-206 Piccadilly,
London,
W1J 9LE Closest tube: Piccadilly
When?
Saturday 15th May, 12 Noon.
People Coming:
Jo (me!) of Once Upon a Bookcase & Ink and Paper
Lynsey of Narratively Speaking
Sophie of So Many Books, So Little Time
Nayuleska of Nayu's Reading Corner
Lauren of I Was a Teenage Book Geek
Becky of The Bookette
Carly of Writing From the Tub
Sammee of I Want to Read That
Sarah of Sarah's Book Reviews
Cat - unpublishing YA author who blogs on This Counts as Writing, Right?
Keren David - YA author who blogs on Almost True
We may or may not decide, while there, to move somewhere for food, and some people may decide to move on to a pub a little later on. There is no end time for the event, we'll just leave when we leave, however we won't be out ridiculously late as a big group, as there are some people who have to travel a fair way to get home.
There are a number of people coming who don't live in London, so it seems a little silly to call it a London meet up - either way, if there are other bloggers in the UK who are interested in coming and are happy to come, please let us know! Again, any under 18s will need to have an adult come along, just for your safety.
