First Class Post (44)

first class post
First Class Post - because this post is first class!

First Class Post

For review:

The Secret of Ella and Micha by Jessica Sorensen - Goodreads / Amazon
A new adult romance that sounds so good! I'm really looking forward to reading this! Also, I have two (I believe) of Sorensen's self-published novels already on my Kindle to read that I liked the sound of! So I have a few awesome novels by one author! Happy bunny!

Follow Me Down by Tanya Byrne - Goodreads / Amazon
This is an unsolicited review copy, but I'm quite intrigued. I'm still yet to read Heart Shaped Bruise, but it has been raved about, so hopefully I'll like both!

Surrender Your Love by J.C. Reed - Goodreads / Amazon
This is an ebook review copy. It's New Adult, and sounds like it might be quite heavy on the sexy. I'm intrigued to see if it is.

Moose Baby by Meg Rosoff - Goodreads / Amazon
The Traveller by Theresa Breslin - Goodreads / Amazon
A Lily, A Rose by Sally Nicholls - Goodreads / Amazon
Jon for Short by Malorie Blackman - Goodreads / Amazon
These are all Barrington Stoke books for dyslexic, struggling, and reluctant readers. I'm intrigued by Moose Baby and The Traveller, but Jon for Short was sent to me by mistake.

Clockwork Princess by Cassandra Clare - Goodreads / Amazon
The third and final book in the Infernal Devices series! I am behind, but this is a series I am excited about, so I'm happy to have the final book!

Noble Conflict by Malorie Blackman - Goodreads / Amazon
This was an unsolicited review copy, but I am actually so intrigued! Sounds like another awesome dystopia!

With All My Soul by Rachel Vincent - Goodreads / Amazon
EEEEE! I AM SO EXCITED! The final book in the Soul Screamers series! I am so reading this next! Eee!

Ink by Amanda Sun - Goodreads / Amazon
I am SO intrigued by this Japanese folklore urban fantasy! Oh my god, I have so many questions just from reading the description! I really hope this is awesome!

Call the Shots by Don Calame - Goodreads / Amazon
The third book in the Swim the Fly series! I am so excited to read this book, the other two in the series were awesome! So looking forward to the funny!

The Testing by Joelle Charbonneau - Goodreads / Amazon
Eee, another awesome sounding dystopia! So excited to read this!

NetGalley:

Mila 2.0 by Debra Driza - Goodreads / Amazon
I was sent a manuscript of this, but I don't get on with them, so I am SO happy I now have it on my Kindle! I read he short story prequel, Mila 2.0: Origins: The Fire (review here), and it was awesome, so I'm super excited to read this!

Fragments by Dan Wells - Goodreads / Amazon
I'm still yet to read Paritals - I know, bad reviewer - but everyone has raved about it! So I'm excited to get started, and dive straight into Fragments when I'm done!

Bought:

Requiem by Lauren Oliver - Goodreads / Amazon
I went to the Lauren Oliver event on Tuesday and bought the hardback of Requiem to get signed. I've already reviewed this, and you can read my review here. This is a first edition, so it includes a short story from Alex's point of view, which I'm eager to read! The book is awesome, Lauren Oliver is awesome, the event was awesome! She signed all 9 books I had with me (3 hardbacks, 2 paperbacks, and 4 ARCs)! This is what she wrote in Requiem:

First Class Post

Reads "For Jo, It's so wonderful to see you again - thank you once again showing your love and support!"

Can't Sleep, Write Now: A Nocturnal Journal for Tireless Thinkers by Lucienne Edwards - Goodreads / Amazon
Not photographed because I forgot it. This is really for writers, but it looked really good when I picked one up for a friend, really thought provoking, so I bought myself one too, just for fun.

Thanks to Sphere, Headline, J.C. Reed, Barrington Stoke, HarperCollins Children's Books via NetGalley, Walker, RHCP, Mira Ink and Templar for the review copies.

  1. So jealous of the fact that you got Clockwork Princess! I finished Clockwork Prince earlier and am desperate to read it now.
I've heard such good things about Tanya Byrne and her novels but, like you, I haven't read anything by her yet. Happy reading! :)

    1. Ooh, clever! I couldn't wait like that, though. But you're in for some fun, it's a fantastic series! The first two books aren't as great as I hoped they would be, but the ones that followed were awesome! Hope you enjoy them!

  3. Gah, so jealous you got Follow Me Down 0 my copy seems to have gone missing! Definitely read Heart-Shaped Bruise as it's incredible.

I wasn't a fan of the second Soul Screamers books and stopped reading, but I'm glad you love the series!

    1. Maybe your copy is still on it's way! :) I am really looking forward to reading it - and Heart-Shaped Bruise. They both sound so good!

Oh, I love the Soul Screamers! The first two books weren't as great as I wanted them to be, but the series really improved from book 3! So I'm super excited for With All My Soul! :D
