TV deal news from Strange Chemistry:

Blackwood by Gwenda BondBLACKWOOD TV DEAL

We wouldn't usually bother you with every tiny little piece of news that crosses our desk here at Strange Chemistry HQ, but this is BIG news and we felt we had to share!

We've been sitting on this secret for a little while now and, finally, thanks to a press release that went out very late Friday night GMT time, we can reveal that...

BLACKWOOD IS ONLY GOING INTO DEVELOPMENT WITH MTV!

For us, this is massive news. It isn't just an option to produce something, they have stated an intent to write an adaptation and put it into development. It isn't a guarantee that we'll see it hit our TV screens, but it is a MASSIVE step in that direction.

We're delighted that one of our first five launch titles has been picked up in this manner, and it goes without saying that we're utterly thrilled for Gwenda.

For more information, check out the press release.

  1. Weekly Gossip for book lovers... fantastic idea! I'm in love with this! I saw the trailer for Dance of Shadows a week or two ago and really found myself interested- I liked the style but not the gradual hair falling out, though it took me a moment to see what was happening, and I love how the end pose lines up with the novel cover! So pretty!

It is a really awesome trailer! I didn't notice anything about her hair though. So looking forward to reading the book! :)
