Book News: Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins UK Cover

I received some news today from Scholastic - the UK cover for Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins, released 25th August 2010, has been released!
mockingjay by suzanne collinsAgainst all odds, Katniss Everdeen has survived the Hunger Games twice. But now that she’s made it out of the
bloody arena alive, she’s still not safe. The Capitol is angry. The Capitol wants revenge. Who do they think should
pay for the unrest? Katniss. And what’s worse, President Snow has made it clear that no one else is safe either.
Not Katniss’s family, not her friends Peeta and Gale, not the people of District 12.

Powerful and haunting, this thrilling final instalment of Suzanne Collins’s groundbreaking The Hunger Games
trilogy promises to be one of the most talked about books of the year.
From press release.
How awesome is that cover? And how great does this book sound?! I am SO excited! Sorry about the size, that's the size I was sent. But still, awesome!

  3. This is definitely the best of the UK covers. I really did not like the first one. (Cover not the book obviously).

  4. Is that a feather? Overall pretty cool and I like orange (but not to wear, red hair you know,) but I like the US cover best.

  5. Becky - I do love this cover, but I loved the first one too! I think they're both great! Though not too ken on the second.

Girls in the Stacks - I think it is a feather, from a mockingjay? Perhaps. Haha, I'm a red head too :) The US cover is a bit too pale for me, but it's still cool! :)
