UK Book Bloggers Meet Up Update

Several weeks ago, I mentioned that Simon of Stuck in a Book proposed a meet up for UK book bloggers. Well I now have an update for you all!

The event will be held on Saturday 8th May 2010, from 5.30pm til late, in London. For security reasons we've been asked not to give details of the venue, and the meeting will also be for ages 18+, so for more details on that, please send an email to simon at simondavidthomas[at]yahoo.co.uk.

From the horse's mouth:
The plan is to do some mingling and introducing, and then have food after an hour and a half, or thereabouts. The venue does fairly traditional pub food, main course under £10, with the option of sandwiches instead if that suits your appetite/budget!

And we'll be doing a book-swap! Bring along a book (new or old, secondhand is fine) that you think someone else would like, and we'll distribute them - so you'll come away with something good for the train journey home.

Also, the venue can only hold 35 people max, so get emailing with your RSVP to make sure in with a place. If you would like to go, but can't say for definite that you can just yet because it's too early, you can still tell Simon this, and he'll put you down for a yes for now, so you have a place that you can cancel if necessary - which is what I've done.
