Writers' & Artists' Yearbook 2012 - I hope to get a job in publishing, I thought the contacts in this book might give more places to look.
How to Get a Job in Publishing by Alison Baversock, Susannah Bowen and Steve Carey - this was recommended to me by Stacey of Pretty Books who found it extremely helpful in getting her job.
Swag:
I received a fair few bookmarks from author Jeri Smith-Read - who writens the Shade series, as well as several adult urban fantasy series - which I love! She also included two bookmarks from adult urban fantasy author, Adrian Phoenix. I hadn't heard of her before, I'll have to check her out.
I've read an Arc of Under the Never Sky - it was one of my favourite reads in the last few months - hope you enjoy it as well! Nice swag haul as well - I love bookmarks! :-)
ReplyDeleteThank you! I'm really looking forward to Under the Never Sky, it sounds brilliant! I love bookmarks, too :D
ReplyDeleteOh gosh. Under the Never Sky. I LOVE THAT BOOK!!!! Amazing! I really hope you'll enjoy it. Oooh and I'm super intrigued by Hollow Pike! And Fallen in Love because Arriane is one of my favourite characters in the series - actually I prefer all the secondary characters to Luce and Daniel haha. So I can't wait to read their stories.
ReplyDeleteAwesome swag too! Happy reading :)
Thank you! Really looking forward to all three of those books, they sound amazing! So excited for them! :)
