At school we read Frankenstein, but I had no idea what I was reading until we were in class and the teacher could make sense of it, the same with Shakespeare. I just can't get my head around the language. I will get to them at some point :)Johttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02828378728962868575noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2381533012764037154.post-62495001903481870022015-01-18T13:12:15.548+00:002015-01-18T13:12:15.548+00:00And thanks for stopping by! :)And thanks for stopping by! :)Johttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02828378728962868575noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2381533012764037154.post-13332809176798989012015-01-18T13:11:38.808+00:002015-01-18T13:11:38.808+00:00Yeah, that's exactly it. I noticed recently that I don't have enough non-fiction reads, so I added some into the mix. Mostly I just read the books I want to, though. Like you say, it's great to read diverse books, but that doesn't mean you have to read every diverse book. I feel like I should read the classics too, but I'm often not thrilled with them (I wouldn't say I don't understand them, but they just don't hold my attention). So, I just try to occasionally read one that I think actually will interest me and move on. :-)

Nicole @ Feed Your Fiction AddictionNicole @ Feed Your Fiction Addictionhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08637114079800138680noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2381533012764037154.post-52916869605526089652015-01-17T23:55:33.617+00:002015-01-17T23:55:33.617+00:00I wonder which classics you have tried to read? The first time I tried to read Pride and Prejudice I couldn't make head or tail of it. Now, it's one of my favorite books. Still, I agree that the main thing is to enjoy yourself!Loryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08519976394732029323noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2381533012764037154.post-33075847936735715892015-01-17T18:43:18.733+00:002015-01-17T18:43:18.733+00:00I have found out quickly that if the book is press...I have found out quickly that if the book is pressuring me, it starts to feel like school and I don't want to read it. I have to read what I am interested in and I think that makes my blog posts more enjoyable and readable
Missie @ A Flurry of Ponderings
Missiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03728595822929902508noreply@blogger.com
