Seriously, I think the only people who make comments like these are people who've decided that Twilight represents ALL of YA, and has Thr Vampire Diaries in telly to back then up. There are so many fabulous-_AND HIGH PROFILE!--non-paranormal (and sexual!) YA novels being published. From the obvious (John Green, anyone?) to the less high profile, like Hannah Harrington or JH Trumbke.
