I think it might depend on your view point regarding whether the plot gets going earlier in the book or not, it just didn't get interesting until then for me. May be different for other people. I really want to read it. I'm sad this book didn't work out for you! That's disappointing to hear that the plot doesn't really get going until the end. ): The characters still sound really intriguing to me though and I will read just about anything if there's a bisexual protagonist, so I will still definitely check this book out.
