Reviews:

Forest of a Thousand Lanterns by Julie C. Dao The Kingdom of Copper by S. A. Chakraborty A Torch Against the Night by Sabaa Tahir This Green and Pleasant Land by Ayisha Malik

  • Forest of a Thousand Lanterns by Julie C. Dao - Didn't like this book. Was disappointed with the story overall, as not a huge amount happens, and it's not exactly what I expected of an Evil Queen villian origin story, but it also has some pretty ableist elements. So not a book I can recommend.
  • The Kingdom of Copper by S. A. Chakraborty - Aaah, I absolutely loved this book! So much has changed! The twist and the action and the heartbreak! It was incredible, and mate, I cannot wait to read The Empire of Gold!
  • A Torch Against the Night by Sabaa Tahir - This book is brilliant! A Torch Against the Night is an incredible sequel, action packed and completely captivating! I absolutely cannot wait to read A Reaper at the Gates, and see where the story takes our characters next!
  • This Green and Pleasant Land by Ayisha Malik - Despite the serious and important topics covered, This Green and Pleasant Land is a really heart-warming and special story. It moved me beyond words, and is one I'll be thinking about for a very long time. I loved it!
