Here are the books I've received over the last few weeks!
Naomi & Ely's No Kiss List and Nick & Norah's Infinite Playlist both by Rachel Cohn & David Levithan - More Levithan novels! I love Levithan, and I adored Dash & Lily's Book of Dares, also co-written by Cohn, so I'm really looking forward to these two! I have been eager to read them for so long, so I'm super glad they're being republished. And with the new covers being released by Electric Monkey, I'm not minding the one for Nick & Norah out of them all. At least this one looks interesting. (Also, did you know Mira Ink are republishing Dash & Lily's Book of Dares with a new cover - similar to these from Electric Monkey? Hmm. I prefer the old cover.)
Boys Don't Knit by T. S. Eaton - I've heard that this is really very funny, so I'm looking forward to reading it! It's been a while since I read a really funny "boy's book"!
Fiendish by Brenna Yovannoff - I believe I now have every book by Yovannoff, but I've yet to read any :/ Really need to fix that. This sounds pretty good, though!
Better Than Perfect by Simone Elkeles - One for Sex in Teen Lit Month, recommended by the publisher. I've loved most of Elkeles' other books, so I'm really hoping I love this too!
Cursed and Half-Blood both by Jennifer L. Armentrout - Hurrah! These books have finally been published in the UK!!! I love Armentrout's Lux series, so I'm super excited to read these ones - especially Half-Blood as that series is raved about! And awesome that Hodder and Stoughton are now part of Bookbridgr, huh?
On Sudden Hill by Linda Sarah and Benji Davies - This looks like a really cute picture book with a great message! :)
The Young World by Chris Weitz - This sounds intriguing! And written by director Christ Weitz, with lots of praise, so I have high hopes! :) (Not pictured)
Sacrifice by Brigid Kemmerer - I HAVE SACRIFICE!!!!! Oh my god, you have no idea how EXCITED I am to read this!!! My Kindle is taking an age to charge though, so I've not been able to get to it yet, but oooooh, I really can't wait! But the last book! :'( But can I just say... WHOOP FOR NEW ADULT URBAN FANTASY/PARANORMAL! :D (Not pictured)
Work Reading Copy:
To All the Boys I've Loved Before by Jenny Han - I loooved Han's Summer series, so I'm really ecited to read this! I happened to mention to the head of department at work that I was really looking forward to this, so she said she would request a reading copy of it from the publisher for me! I actually got quite excited, despite having books sent to me at home for years now, haha!
Beautiful Music for Ugly Children by Kirsten Cronn-Mills - I won this as part of LGBT+ April, but my copy didn't arrive, so another was sent out. Soooo looking forward to reading this! Thanks to Cayce at Fighting Dreamer and Laura of Laura Plus Books for an awesome month, and to Flux for the prize!
Thank you to Electric Monkey, Hot Key Books, Simon and Schuster Children Books, Bloomsbury, Hodder and Stoughton via Bookbridgr, Scholastic via work, and Atom and Kensington Books via NetGalley for the review copies.
Inspired by Faye of A Daydreamer's Thoughts's Weekly Recap, here is a recap of my posts over the last week, and anything else I found interesting.
I've been on a bit of a David Edding's high fantasy reading spree lately, and I've loved it! Instead of listing them all, as there are so many, just click the images to be taken to the review. Love them aaaall!
