For review:

Matched by Ally Condie - Razorbill
Yes, I did receive an ARC a few weeks ago, but I've now got a finished copy! I'm reading it at the moment and really enjoying it.

Breaking Dawn by Stephenie Meyer - Colman Getty/Atom
Of course, I've already read the Twilight series, but this is to promote the Christmas white cover editions.

For Death and Bereavement Month:

Noughts and Crosses and Knife Edge by Malorie Blackman - Random House Children's Books
I've not read this series before, I know, shocking! But Knife Edge was recommended to me for the month, so Random House kindly sent me both books so I can catch up and make sense of the series.

The Book Thief by Markus Zusak - Random House Children's Books
This book has always intrigued me, but there was always something that put me off. But now it's been recommended for D&B Month, I'm looking forward to finally reading it.

Noah Barleywater Runs Away by John Boyne - Random House Children's Books
Another book for the month, that sounds really sweet. I'm looking forward to reading it!

A pretty good book week for me! :)

  4. AtenRa - I'm looking forward to reading Noughts and Crosses, it does sound pretty good! I, too, already have the Twilight novels. To be honest, I'm not sure what the big deal about them is, myself. It's the same story.

Melissa - Thank you! I'm looking forward to them!

Carly - Thank you! I'm looking forward to reading Noah Barleywater, it sounds pretty good! :)

  5. I loved Noughts and Crosses but wasn't as impressed with the sequels that I read (I don't think I finished the series.) I've just read Malorie Blackman's latest novel, Boys Don't Cry and that was a fantastic contemporary novel. The Book Thief too is well worth reading. I hope you enjoy it.

  6. Oooh, thanks for the tip! I have to say, I'm really looking forward to both Noughts and Crosses and Knife Edge, they sound really good! I also have Boys Don't Cry to read, too, it sounds awesome! There has been such buzz around The Book Thief, and there is a part of me that's looking forward to it, but I'm still feeling a little unsure. I'll just have to read it and find out :) Cheers!

  9. The Slowest Bookworm - Thank you! There's something about Matched; I'm having a bit of trouble with it, yet I can't stop reading. Mixed feelings, lol.

Gaby - Thank you! As I said above, having issues with Matched, and kind of looking forward to The Book Thief. It will be interesting to see what I think of both once I'm done reading them!

  10. Awesome stuff! May I ask if the white twilight books will be coming to the United States this Christmas? They aren't listed on amazon.com and I'm curious to know because I would *LOVE* to own the white twilight books! Thank you soooo much =D

  11. They're limited edition in the UK only, I'm afraid. But you could buy them from The Book Depository (http://www.bookdepository.co.uk/book/9781907410482/Twilight), which provides free shipping :)

  14. Great week for you. Congratulations on the White Breaking Dawn. I picked up the set a couple of weeks ago because I just couldn't resist. I keep hearing great things about matched, thats great you got the finished copy too.

  15. Great selection. I've got The Book Thief on my TBR, and Knife Edge, but not Noughts and Crosses! I really need to get my hands on that one. I'm intrigued to see what you think of Matched, I was quite drawn in by the preview that I read, but I wonder what kind of messages the story is going to have considering the author's religion and all.

  16. Nicky - Thank you! I'm not too fussed about the white copies od the Twilight Saga. I have the black ones, and they're good enough, lol. Match is ok. Not having the best time with it, really.

Julianne - Oooh, I hope you manage to get Noughts and Crosses, the series looks pretty good! Matched, I'm still not sure about. I'm not sure any religious aspects come in to it - I don't know what Ally Condie's religion is, but there doesn't seem to be anything pointing at religion in the book that I can see. I'll have to wait til the end, I guess. :)

  17. I don't really like the look of the white covered Twilight books *hides* but I hear Noah Barleywater is a good one.

I loved Noughts and Crossed. And Matched. I have The Book Thief on my shelves to read, but despite loving Markus Zusak, I'm always a little uncomfortable picking it up to read. I put it down to bad timing.

  20. Michelle - Same here, the black ones were better. Noah Barleywater sounds sweet, and I've heard good things about it. Should be good! :)
Oooh, glad to hear I'm not the only one who has trouble with The Book Thief, lol. Noughts and Crosses looks great, and Matched... well, I'll be finished soon and will have a review, lol.

Sophie - I'm not a huge fan of them either. Lol, I'm a bit further in from when I wrote that about Matched, not loving it much now, lol.

  21. Uniquely Moi - I hope so too, because Matched hasn't really given me much to shout from the rooftops about, lol.

  22. Great books! I really liked Matched. I have been meaning to read Naughts and Crosses for a while but other books keep pushing it down the list. My YA Mailbox is here. Happy reading!

  25. Thank you! Not a big fan of the white covers to be honest, and I was the same about The Book Thief... but there's still something that puts me off. I'm sure it'll be fine, as so many people like it :)
